These Payment Terms (“Terms”) govern all payment transactions made on the TARA MINI Platform, operated by TARA MINI LLP. By using our Platform for any transactions, you whether as a buyer or seller, acknowledge and agree to the following terms.

1. Payment Methods and Processing

1.1 Accepted Payment Methods:

  • Variety of Options: We accept a broad range of payment methods including major credit and debit cards, net banking, Unified Payments Interface (UPI), digital wallets, and EMI optionswhere available.
  • Security and Fees: All transactions are processed using industry-standard encryption and secure protocols. Please note that some payment methods may be subject to additional bank or payment provider fees, which are charged directly by the provider and not by TARA MINI.

1.2 Transaction Processing:

  • Real-Time Authorization: Once you initiate a payment, the transaction is authenticated in real-time via our approved payment gateway.
  • Confirmation and Failure Handling: A confirmation message will be sent upon successful processing. In the event of a transaction failure, you will be notified and may retry the payment. We also recommend contacting your payment provider if the issue persists.

1.3 Payment Authorization and Security:

  • Encryption and PCI Compliance: All sensitive payment data is encrypted and processed in accordance with Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCIDSS).
  • Fraud Prevention: Our system employs real-time monitoring to detect and prevent fraudulent transactions. In any suspected fraud case, the transaction may be flagged or delayed pending further verification.

2. Seller Payment Settlement

2.1 Payment Clearance:

  • Settlement Timing: For each successful sale on the TARA MINI Platform, funds are typically cleared and settled into the seller’s designated account within 2-3 business days following order confirmation and delivery.
  • Verification Process: Prior to settlement, transactions are verified to ensure that the sale is genuine and free of any discrepancies. If any concerns arise, the payment may be held pending resolution.

2.2 Withholding and Adjustments:

  • Contingencies and Refunds: Payments may be withheld or adjusted in cases involving order cancellations, refunds, or chargebacks. If a buyer requests a refund due to issues like damage or misrepresentation, the corresponding amount will be deducted from the seller’s pending settlement.
  • Accurate Account Information: Sellers are responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date bank account details. Delays or errors due to outdated or incorrect information will not be attributed to TARA MINI.

2.3 Dispute Resolution for Seller Settlements:

  • Reporting Discrepancies: Any payment discrepancies or disputes should be promptly reported to our dedicated support team.
  • Investigation and Resolution: We will investigate and resolve disputes within a defined timeframe. During this process, relevant funds may be held until a fair resolution is reached.

3. Currency, Taxes, and Fees

3.1 Currency:

  • Primary Currency: All transactions on the Platform are conducted in Indian Rupees (INR). In future updates, if international transactions are introduced, currency conversion fees and exchange rate variations may apply.

3.2 Taxes and Fees:

  • Applicable Taxes: Buyers and sellers are responsible for any applicable taxes, duties, or governmental fees associated with their transactions.
  • Transaction Charges: Any service fees or transaction charges levied by TARA MINI will be clearly disclosed during the payment process. Documentation for tax purposes will be provided where applicable.

3.3 Commission and Service Fees:

  • Commission Structure: For every successful sale, a predetermined commission fee is deducted from the seller’s earnings. This fee covers the cost of operating the Platform and providing support services.
  • Fee Transparency: All fee structures and commissions are communicated upfront during the onboarding process for sellers, ensuring complete transparency.

4. Refunds and Cancellations

4.1 Buyer-Initiated Cancellations:

  • Pre-Shipment Cancellations: Buyers may cancel orders before shipment. Refunds for such cancellations will be processed within 3 - 4 business days, subject to the payment method’s policies.
  • Post-Shipment Issues: If an order is canceled after shipment or due to issues like product damage, refunds will be processed after a review of the claim.
  • Return Policy Adherence: Refunds initiated due to returns or product discrepancies will be processed in accordance with the seller’s return policy and the overall guidelines provided on the Platform.
  • Adjustment of Settlements: Any refunds processed will be reflected as adjustments in the seller’s subsequent payment settlements.

5. Modifications to Payment Terms

  • Right to Update: TARA MINI reserves the right to modify these Payment Terms at any time. Changes may include adjustments to processing times, fees, or payment methods.
  • Notification: Users will be informed of any significant changes via email or through a notice on the Platform. Continued use of the Platform for transactions signifies acceptance of any updated terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Exclusion of Damages: To the maximum extent permitted by law, TARA MINI LLP, its affiliates, and associated service providers shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from payment processing errors, delays, or system failures.
  • Third-Party Services: We are not responsible for any losses or damages incurred due to issues with third-party payment providers or financial institutions, including but not limited to bank processing delays, technical glitches, or unauthorized transactions.
  • Force Majeure: In cases where events beyond our control (such as natural disasters, technical outages, or regulatory changes) affect payment processing, the Company shall bear no liability.

7. Records, Reporting, and Audits

  • Transaction Records: TARA MINI maintains detailed records of all transactions processed on the Platform. These records are accessible to users upon request and may be used for audit and verification purposes.
  • User Access: Both buyers and sellers have the right to access their transaction histories through their account dashboard. Any discrepancies found should be reported immediately for further investigation.

8. Security and Compliance

  • Data Protection: We adhere to strict data protection policies to safeguard your financial information. Our payment processing systems are regularly audited for compliance with security standards.
  • Regulatory Compliance: All payment activities are conducted in compliance with applicable laws and regulations, ensuring that your transactions remain secure and legally sound.

9. Dispute Resolution

  • Reporting Issues: Any disputes related to payments, settlements, or refund processes should be communicated to our customer support team at the earliest opportunity.
  • Resolution Process: We commit to investigating disputes in a timely and fair manner. If a resolution cannot be reached amicably, the matter may be escalated according to the dispute resolution provisions outlined in our general Terms of Service.
